R. Keith Fetter, President PiedmontIR LLC was founded in 1993 by Keith Fetter. He was responsible for the business development, implementation and startup of this firm. He manages operations and is responsible for creating an extensive network of investment professionals within the financial community. Prior to PiedmontIR, Keith owned and operated Search Group Capital, Inc., an Atlanta-based executive search firm specializing in placing financial executives and registered investment advisors. He began his work in the investment/financial field in the mid 80's working as an Investment Advisor/Broker for RAF Financial and First Jersey Securities. Keith is a graduate from the University of Richmond, earning his BA in Economics. Darren S. Bankston, Managing Director Since May of 2003, Darren has assisted with operations, business development and building a network for PiedmontIR. Darren brings over 13 years of experience in the institutional investment and brokerage business to PiedmontIR. Before joining PiedmontIR in 2003, Darren was Vice President, Investments for Montauk Financial Group. Prior to joining Montauk, he was Branch Manager at both First Union Securities and JW Genesis Securities, New York Stock Exchange member firms specializing in working with high net worth individuals and Foreign Institutional accounts. While at JW Genesis, he was a 4-year Presidents Club member. From 1993 to 1995, Darren was a Vice President, Investments of Josephthal Lyon and Ross Inc., also a NYSE member firm.
